• Urdu: خودی کو کر بلند اتنا کہ ہر تقدیر سے پہلے خدا بندے سے خود پوچھے بتا تیری رضا کیا ہے
  Translation: Elevate your self so high that before every decree, God Himself will ask you, “What is your wish?”

• Urdu: نگاہ بلند، سخن دلنواز، جان پرسوز یہی ہے رخت سفر میر کارواں کے لیے
  Translation: High ambition, captivating words, a passionate soul; these are the provisions for my journey.

• Urdu: ہے عزم بلند تجھ میں تو پستی میں بھی پرواز کرہ شجر پہ آشیانہ یا سطح مہہ و انجم پر
  Translation: If you have high resolve, you can soar even from depths. Build your nest on a tree or on the surface of the moon and stars.

محبت اور انسانی روح پر شایری

• Urdu: عشق کی ایک جست نے طے کر دیا قصہ تمام اس زمیں کی رفعتوں کا آسماں کا اضطراب
  Translation: Love took one leap and concluded the tale, of the earth’s heights and the heavens’ turmoil.

• Urdu: عشق سکھاتا ہے آداب خود آگاہی خُود کو کر بلند اتنا کہ ہر تقدیر سے پہلے
  Translation: Love teaches self-awareness. Elevate yourself so high that God asks your wish before every fate.

• Urdu: نہ ہو نومید! نومیدی زوال علم و عرفاں ہے یہی اجداد کا نقش کہن ہے، تو زمانے کا امام ہے
  Translation: Never despair! Despair is the decline of knowledge and wisdom. This is the ancient mark of your ancestors, you are the leader of this era.

حوصلہ افزائی اور عمل پر شایری

• Urdu: ستاروں سے آگے جہاں اور بھی ہیں ابھی عشق کے امتحان اور بھی ہیں
  Translation: There are worlds beyond the stars, and greater tests of love await.

• Urdu: ہزاروں سال نرگس اپنی بے نوری پہ روتی ہے بڑی مشکل سے ہوتا ہے چمن میں دیدہ ور پیدا
  Translation: The narcissus weeps for a thousand years over its sightlessness. With great difficulty is a discerning eye born in the garden.

• Urdu: عمل سے زندگی بنتی ہے، جنت بھی، جہنم بھی یہ خاکی اپنی فطرت میں نہ نوری ہے نہ ناری ہے
  Translation: Life is formed by action— both paradise and hell. This earthly form is neither light nor fire by nature.

قوم اور ترقی پر شایری

• Urdu: چین و عرب ہمارا، ہندوستاں ہمارا مسلم ہیں ہم، وطن ہے سارا جہاں ہمارا
  Translation: China and Arabia are ours, India is ours. We are Muslims, the whole world is our homeland.

• Urdu: یورپ کے مقلد ہو گئے صاحب تہذیب اس قوم نے افلاک سے نیچا کیا ہے خود کو
  Translation: You’ve become imitators of Europe, O civilized ones! This nation brought itself down from the heavens.

• Urdu: تُو شاخِ نازک سے اُٹھ کر محیطِ کُبر میں غرق ہو خودی کے بحرِ عمیق میں غوطہ زن ہو
  Translation: Arise from the delicate branch and plunge into vast seas. Dive into the deep ocean of selfhood.

ایمان اور روحانیت پر شایری

• Urdu: مسجد تو بنا دی شب بھر میں ایماں کی حرارت والوں نے من اپنا پرانا پاپی ہے برسوں میں نمازی بن نہ سکا
  Translation: Those with warmth of faith built a mosque overnight, yet my sinful heart could not become a prayerful one through the years.

• Urdu: نہ معلوم بندے کو اپنے مقام کا شعور ورنہ فرشتوں سے اونچا ہے انسان کا مرتبہ
  Translation: If only humans knew their true potential, Their station would be higher than even the angels.

• Urdu: تجھ کو پرکھتا ہے یہ چرخ کہن ہر صبح تجھ میں نیا عزم، نئی امنگ پیدا کر
  Translation: This ancient sky tests you every morning, Create within yourself new resolve, and new aspirations.

علم اور عقل پر شایری

• Urdu: محبت مجھے ان جوانوں سے ہے ستاروں پہ جو ڈالتے ہیں کمند
  Translation: I have love for such youth, who cast their lassos upon the stars.

• Urdu: علم میں بھی لذتِ انکشاف ہے اور عمل میں بھی مزا ہے
  Translation: In knowledge lies the pleasure of discovery, and in action, there is joy.

• Urdu: غلامی میں نہ کام آتی ہیں شمشیریں نہ تدبیریں جو ہو ذوقِ یقیں پیدا تو کٹ جاتی ہیں زنجیریں
  Translation: Neither swords nor strategies help in slavery. When the yearning for certainty arises, then chains are severed

زندگی اور وجود پر شایری

• Urdu: نہیں ہے نا امید اقبال اپنی کشتِ ویراں سے ذرا نم ہو تو یہ مٹی بہت زرخیز ہے ساقی
  Translation: Iqbal hasn’t lost hope for his barren field. With just a little moisture, this soil is fertile, O cup-bearer!

• Urdu: فطرت افراد سے اغماض بھی کر لیتی ہے قوموں کی خطائیں کبھی معاف نہیں کرتی
  Translation: Nature may forgive the mistakes of individuals, But it never pardons the errors of nations.

• Urdu: کوئی اندازہ کر سکتا ہے اس کے زورِ بازو کا نگاہِ مردِ مومن سے بدل جاتی ہیں تقدیریں

خوابوں اور خواہشات پر شایری

• Urdu: نہیں تیرا نشیمن قصرِ سلطانی کے گنبد پر تو شاہیں ہے، بسیرا کر پہاڑوں کی چٹانوں میں
  Translation: Your nest isn’t on the domes of royal palaces. You are a falcon, dwell upon the cliffs of mountains.

• Urdu: نہیں ہے کامیابی عشق کی معراج تنہائی مصاحب تیرے ہوں جب حلقہء یاراں تو کیا حاصل
  Translation: Success in love isn’t reached in solitude. What benefit is there in a circle of friends if you don’t have a companion?

• Urdu: پرواز کو خمیازہ ہے اس عزم کی بلندی جس عزم کا اقرار ہو لب پر وہ عزم نہیں ہے
  Translation: Flight yawns at the height of such resolve. A resolve spoken by lips alone is no resolve at all.

تبدیلی اور تبدیلی پر شایری

• Urdu: ہے دل اگر مسلمان تو کافر ہے سب جہان اٹھتا نہیں ہے دل سے محبت کے نام پر
  Translation: If the heart is Muslim, then the whole world is an infidel. It does not rise in the name of love.

• Urdu: ہزاروں لالہ و گل ہیں ریاضِ ہستی میں وفا کی شمع جلا کر تو دیکھ اے ناکام
  Translation: There are thousands of tulips and roses in existence’s garden. Light the candle of faithfulness and see, O unfortunate one.

• Urdu: گردشِ لیل و نہار، گردشِ افلاک ہے گردشِ ارض و سما، زندگی کا سوز و ساز
  Translation: The cycle of day and night, the rotation of the heavens, the revolutions of the earth and sky; this is the fire and music of life.

چیلنجز اور لچک پر شایری

• Urdu: انسانیت کا جوہر ہر سانس میں مکمل ہوتا ہے۔ انسانی موتی بڑی مشکل سے ملا ہے۔
  Translation: The essence of humanity is perfected every breath. A human pearl is found with great difficulty.

• Urdu: نہ پوچھ سر نوشتِ ستارہ شناس سے مومن کا حال گردشِ تقدیر توڑ دے
  Translation: Don’t inquire your fortune from those who read stars. A believer breaks the very rotation of fate.

• Urdu: ہے تیرے تصرف میں اگر قوتِ تخیل دنیا کو بدل سکتا ہے جادو یہ تخیل کا
  Translation: If you possess the power of imagination, it’s magic can change the world.

حکمت اور تفہیم پر شایری

• Urdu: عقل کو تہذیب نے دی ہے نئی رعنائیاں تازہ کاری میں ہیں اسلاف کے افکار بھی
  Translation: Intellect has been given new elegance by civilization, even the ideas of the ancestors are refreshed.

• Urdu: ہے عقلِ عام شے درخورِ احترام لیکن طریقِ کارِ نبوت عجیب چیز
  Translation: Common sense is a thing worthy of respect, but the way of the Prophet is an extraordinary thing.

• Urdu: نگاہِ عشق و مستی میں وہی اول وہی آخر وہی قرآن وہی فرقان وہی یٰسین وہی طٰہٰ

• Urdu: فقر کی شان سمندر سے بھی اونچی ہے وہ فقیری نہیں جس میں ہے عزت کی کمی
  Translation: The glory of selflessness is higher than the ocean. It’s not selflessness if there’s a lack of dignity.

• Urdu: نہ سمجھو گے میری بات اے اہلِ محفل بھرے پڑے ہو شیشوں میں مگر پانی نہیں آتا
  Translation: You won’t understand my words, O people of gatherings! Your glasses are full, but there’s no water to be found.

فلسفیانہ موسیقی پر شایری

• Urdu: اس دور میں شاید وہ نبی پیدا ہوں عیسٰی کہ روشن دماغ و دل و نگاہ ہوں عیسٰی

سادہ خوشیوں پر شایری

• Urdu: شکایت ہے مجھے یا رب خداوندانِ مکتب سے سبق شاہین و باز و کبوتر کا دے رہے ہیں
  Translation: O Lord, I have a complaint about the schoolteachers. They’re teaching lessons of eagles, falcons, and doves!

• Urdu: نہ پوچھ ان خرقہ پوشوں کی ارادت کا مزا دنیا میں پھرتے ہیں یہ مے خانہ بدوش لے کر
  Translation: Don’t ask about the pleasure of those ascetics cloaked in rags, they roam the world carrying their taverns on their shoulders.

• Urdu: ہے عجب جبر آشنا و جبر کش وہ نوجوان جس کا دل ہو مردہ عشقِ نوعِ انساں سے
  Translation: Peculiar is that youth, familiar with oppression yet fighting it, whose heart is dead to the love of humanity.

• Urdu: ہو حلقہ یاراں میں تو ہنگامہ بپا کر خفتوں کو جگا دے لبِ بام آ کے صدا کر
  Translation: If you find yourself in a circle of friends, create a ruckus! Climb upon the roof and awaken the sleeping ones.

• Urdu: ہے دل کے لیے موت مشینوں کی حکومت احساس مروت کو کچل دیتے ہیں آلات
  Translation: The reign of machines is death to the heart, these instruments crush feelings of compassion.

• Urdu: ترے صوفی خانقہوں میں یا بت خانہ ہوں دونوں میں نہیں نوری و ناری کارِ جہاں
  Translation: In your Sufi monasteries or temples of idols, neither light nor fire exist for the work of the world.

• Urdu: علاج اس کا یہ ہے کہ رکھ دیو بند مکتب یہ ہیں گمراہیاں استاد کے سبقوں کی
